Southwest Airlines full flight from Lambert St. Louis to Dallas Love Field. Weather was cloudy and rainy in St. Louis. Quite a bit of turbulence throughout the clouds. Heart One livery. I was sitting in seat 5A. We had a joking flight attendant throughout the flight too if you listen. Nice wing flex during the in the turbulence. Full power takeoff too, which I was quite surprised of. The captain did some great cloud surfing on our approach into Dallas. Video was filmed by a GoPro Hero 3 White Edition.

5. Southwest Airlines B737-800 Economy Class - St. Louis to Los Angeles
Continuing from PIT & MDW, in this video I now fly further west to Los Angeles, California aboard a Southwest Airlines B737-800 with their newer interior product. Everything about this flight was really solid starting with a fantastic crew who threw in jokes whenever they could and really treated the passengers right imo. The hard product also helped. Southwest's B737-800s make up a smaller portion of their fleet compared to the smaller B737-700 type, but these are much better to fly. Not all 737-800 cabins are new yet, but the ones that are feel very refreshed, modern, and hip vs their older ones. Really cool mood lighting along with large overhead bins, styled blue seats with adjustable headrests, and plenty of legroom even for tall people like me all just adds to the overall Southwest experience. They continue to be one of my favorite US domestic airlines based on flights like these. I still wish they would start adding power outlets or at least USB ports on their newer planes though as even ULCCs like Sun Country have something. But, hope you enjoy!

Hey guys! Welcome to my first video in the new decade and 2020! In this one, I'm flying Southwest Airlines aboard a B737-700 from St. Louis, Missouri to Baltimore, Maryland! After a blip in the radar on my last flight, this was right back on par with what I'd expect from Southwest Airlines. The FAs were very nice and funny, the flight departed early & arrived early, and there was some fantastic sunset views as we headed east. Was a nice short trip to the Music City and I absolutely need and definitely will go back sometime in the future. Hope you guys enjoy!

After a longer-than-expected hiatus, here we are with the second video from my trip to Dallas last month. Our second leg from St. Louis to Dallas Love Field was onboard Delta's mini maddog, the Boeing 717. This is just as close to the legendary MD-80's and DC-9's as you can get these days with those planes being largely phased out of passenger service. I hadn't flown a 717 since the AirTran days so needless to say I was excited for this flight. I hope you enjoy this video, which mainly caters to the 717 and maddog enthusiasts rather than being a flight review for once.

14. New airline coming to St. Louis Lambert, bringing flights to sunny destinations
ST. LOUIS - Spirit Airlines announced plans to add St. Louis Lambert International Airport to its route map with nonstop daily flights.
The airline plans to start flying on Thursday, May 27 with flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Pensacola. Spirit is offering flights starting at $60.
“Growing our airline partnerships and offering more destinations is a key part of STL’s strategic plan and we could not be more proud to bring Spirit Airlines to our city,” said Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, airport director. “We look forward to these added flights and the opportunity they bring to our region.”
St. Louis is the seventh new city added to Spirit’s network in the past year, according to a press release from Lambert. In February, the carrier announced an accelerated delivery schedule for new Airbus aircraft joining Spirit’s Fit Fleet.
