The Boeing 757-300 is an aircraft I've always wanted to fly on, primarily because of how unique it is and also because who doesn't love a 757? The first leg of my recent trip to Dallas took me from St. Louis to Atlanta. This flight was initially booked on a 757-200, however the night before, our original plane had a mechanical issue and thus the flight was somehow upgraded to a larger 757-300. It was an amazing flight and I hope you'll enjoy this exciting trip report!

Our flight today begins outside the terminal at Chicago's Midway airport, home to Southwest Airlines. We enter the terminal and proceed to the friendly TSA checkpoint, before heading airside to the Southwest gates.
Our flight is soon called for boarding and we make our way to our assigned position on the boarding podium. Fortunately we are in group A today so are among the first to board - however once onboard the flight is pretty full as it is a continuation of a service from Orlando. We find a window seat towards the back on the right and before long we push back and make a speedy taxi to the runway, blasting off with a powerful takeoff over Chicago's southern suburbs. We make a right turn on track to St Louis and climb to our cruising altitude for this short flight. We are served complimentary coffee and snacks, and sample the free wifi on this low cost airline.
Before long we commence our descent into St Louis and touch down on schedule, before a fast taxi to the gate. We disembark into the terminal building where we will be connecting to our next flight.

Hey guys! In this full flight video, I travel from Nashville, Tennessee over to St. Louis, Missouri aboard a Southwest Airlines B737-700! After a very nice stay in Nashville for a few days, I was pumped to fly one of my favorite airlines once again...until I stepped onboard and the flight attendant took issue of my filming. I've flown Southwest many, many times now and never once was there an issue with me filming - in fact, before this, I never ever had a crew member try to stop me from filming before this lady (that's 80 flights now). I don't know, maybe she was having a bad day (the whole crew too), but luckily the pilot knew the rules of the skies. Besides this, the rest of the flight was pretty turbulent and cloudy, so couldn't see much (and because of this, there was no drink service). But, there were some pros...wasn't all negative. I really enjoy Southwest and will definitely look past this single flight. Hope you guys enjoy!

9. TRIP REPORT - United (ERJ-145), St. Louis to Ixtapa, MX
My family has a long-standing winter tradition of renting out a condo in Ixtapa, Mexico shortly after Christmas. While I wasn't able to come along for the whole time due to work, I got a steal on this mid-week United itinerary that allowed me to sneak down for 5 days. This itinerary took me all the way from St. Louis to southern Mexico on small (50-seat) ERJ-145s, with a stop in Houston. Trips like this are becoming less and less common with the rapid retirement of 50-seat jets. In fact, looking at the timetable this year, United has upguaged the Houston-Ixtapa leg to 76-seat E175s, and many of the St. Louis-Houston flights are on larger aircraft as well. Who knows, this may have been my last international 50-seater flight...
Highlights of this trip include:
-An "emergency" overhead bin repair on the ground at STL
-A pre-sunrise takeoff from STL
-Watching sunrise while in flight
-Exploring all terminals at IAH
-Detailed footage of the unique boarding process at the newly-rebuilt terminal B (IAH)

Hey guys! Welcome to my first video in the new decade and 2020! In this one, I'm flying Southwest Airlines aboard a B737-700 from St. Louis, Missouri to Baltimore, Maryland! After a blip in the radar on my last flight, this was right back on par with what I'd expect from Southwest Airlines. The FAs were very nice and funny, the flight departed early & arrived early, and there was some fantastic sunset views as we headed east. Was a nice short trip to the Music City and I absolutely need and definitely will go back sometime in the future. Hope you guys enjoy!
