→ Whoomp! There it is! Never fails. The whole reason for this trip (kinda) was to finally get my friend on a 737 MAX 8. We booked this routing and sure enough, the MAX 8 got downgraded to a 737-800. Never fails. At least it was in Canyon Blue, right? BUT, Houston IAH needed that 737-800 more than us and we got downgraded AGAIN, this time to a boring old 737-700. I can honestly say, I have never been downgraded twice. Can any of y'all? One thing that didn't change were the babies. My friend and I saw where the babies sat and went clear to the back of the aircraft. Probably the quietest flight yet... Long Beach (LGB), also known as Daugherty Field, is a busy medium-sized multi-use airport, located in the city of Long Beach, California. Situated fifteen miles southeast of the larger, more congested Los Angeles International Airport, it is a convenient alternative for general aviation. There are five more airports of varying sizes within a ten-mile radius of Long Beach. Its associated Class Delta airspace is adjacent to Los Alamitos Army Air Field’s airspace, and underlies the Los Angeles Class Bravo.
