Miami To Medellin Flights

1. First Time on American Airlines B737-MAX! MDE Medellin 🇨🇴- MIA Miami 🇺🇸 [FULL FLIGHT REPORT]

WELCOME ON BOARD in the flight 924 between Jose Maria Córdova in Medellín to Miami Int. Airport. It is my first time un American Airlines. I arrived at the airport at 4:00 am and the flight departed at 7:00am in the runway 01, a humid day. The flight was good, also the seats in #economyclass were comfortable. After passing Jamaica, and some other islands we entered to Florida’s coast. The airplane turned sometimes and we landed in a beautiful day.

Miami International Airport (IATA: MIA, ICAO: KMIA, FAA LID: MIA), also known as MIA and historically as Wilcox Field, is the primary airport serving the Miami area, Florida, United States, with over 1,000 daily flights to 167 domestic and international destinations, and one of three airports serving this area. The airport is in an unincorporated area in Miami-Dade County, 8 miles (13 km) northwest of Downtown Miami, in metropolitan Miami,[4] adjacent to the cities of Miami and Miami Springs, and the village of Virginia Gardens. Nearby are the cities of Hialeah and Doral, and the Census-designated place of Fontainebleau.

It is South Florida's main airport for long-haul international flights and a hub for the Southeastern United States, with passenger and cargo flights to cities throughout the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. It is the largest gateway between the United States and south to Latin America and the Caribbean, and is one of the largest airline hubs in the United States.

Miami International Airport covers 1,335 hectares (3,300 acres).[4] It is Florida's busiest airport by total aircraft operations and total cargo traffic and its second busiest by total passenger traffic after Orlando.[5] The airport is American Airlines' third largest hub and serves as its primary gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean. Miami also serves as a focus city for Avianca, Frontier Airlines, and LATAM, both for passengers and cargo.
American Airlines, Inc. (AA or AAL) is a major American airline headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, within the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. It is the world's largest airline when measured by fleet size, scheduled passengers carried, and revenue passenger mile. American, together with its regional partners, operates an extensive international and domestic network with almost 6,800 flights per day to nearly 350 destinations in more than 50 countries.[8] American Airlines is a founding member of the Oneworld alliance, the third-largest airline alliance in the world. Regional service is operated by independent and subsidiary carriers under the brand name American Eagle.[9]

American Airlines and American Eagle operate out of 10 hubs, with Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) being its largest. The airline handles more than 200 million passengers annually with an average of more than 500,000 passengers daily. As of 2019, the company employs nearly 130,000 people.

12. International Airport Travel - Phoenix to Miami to Medellin Colombia - Gringo Colombia Travel 2020

Curious Perro has now travelled to Colombia for the 4th time in this travel vlog airport 2020. I have my travel routine basically figured out. If I am flying directly to Medellin, I fly to Miami International Airport (MIA) and from there, I fly to José María Córdova International Airport (MDE) located in Rionegro, Colombia. This is the main airport to Medellin.

If I am flying into Bogota or Cartagena or another coastal town, I often have the option of flying through Miami or Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). For me the two best airline options are American Airlines out of Miami or JetBlue Airways out of Fort Lauderdale.

This video was recorded in mid-November 2020 and there were a few COVID restrictions in place. Even though a PCR test was not required, I had an oral test within 96 hours of my flight. It was also required to complete an migration form for the Colombian government prior within 24 hours of being allowed to board your airplane to Colombia.

13. Medellín in a Minute: How do I get from the airport to the city

A very common question I see being asked by first timers to Medellín is 'How do I get from the airport to the city?'

You have 2 basic options:
#1: Airport colectivos for a flat rate of 99,000 COP
#2: San Diego bus for 20,000 COP

Subscribe to the channel and remember the only risk in coming is that you'll want to stay. 🇨🇴
