-Boeing 737-700 aircraft. Long distance round trip travel in a single day. Midday to afternoon to evening. Brief layovers in between flights. This is the return trip following the initial outbound trip: Phoenix (PHX) to Salt Lake City (SLC). Left Arizona in the midday, back home in Arizona in the evening. Departure and arrival! -This was my very first time in Salt Lake City and northern Utah in general. Only having visited Monument Valley in southern Utah, on a road trip with mom (summer 2015).
-This video was during a transition period at SLC (old terminals & gates still in use, while the newly built concourse A had recently opened. The newly built concourse B & tunnel wasn't ready yet). Major hub for Delta Airlines!!

2. {4K} [FULL FLIGHT] Salt Lake City (SLC) - Phoenix (PHX) — Delta Airlines — Airbus A321-211 — N373DX
→ The final leg of the journey back home is this hop from Salt Lake City to Phoenix on a Delta A321 with amazing views! We get great views of the Great Salt Lake, the Wasatch Range, and snow-capped mountains all the way south until the views of the vast desert take over. Upon approach to Phoenix, our flight was given several runway changes as the north side of the airport was shut down due to an emergency aircraft that had to stop on the runway. That emergency aircraft was a private jet with a hydraulic failure and could not steer. ATC slowed us down greatly in the hope the rescue crews could somehow get the plane off the runway so they could reopen it — and it worked. A tug from an FBO on the field hooked up to the plane and was able to get it off the runway, then paused on taxiway B. Airport ops cleared the runway of debris and reopened it — with our flight being the 2nd plane to land on it. You can see the emergency aircraft for a short time at 1:20:14 as we land. Keep an eye out! However, the tow of the aircraft started soon after we landed and we got stuck behind it — going a whole 2 MPH for a majority of our time on the north side, before planes stacked up behind us and the ground controller decided to let us onto taxiway B and go around the aircraft under tow. We were at the arrival gate very shortly after.

→ Join me as I travel to watch my sister graduate college on Delta Airlines! At one time, Delta's A321CEO was my most desired aircraft to fly on (granted, that was many moons ago). Nowadays, it is one I try to avoid. Legroom in economy is non-existent, the plane squeaks and squeals and is otherwise a pain to fly on. I tried to imagine flying Delta's A321CEO cross-country and found myself preferring Frontier solely for more legroom. Thankfully, this was a relatively quick flight. Arguably the best part of this flight is landing on SLC's short runway 17/35, which I have always wanted to do! I hope you enjoy it!

12. Unruly, growling passenger disrupts flight from LAX to Salt Lake City
A man is giving an American Airlines flight crew praise for the way they handled a belligerent passenger on the flight from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City. Video posted to social media by Dennis Busch shows a passenger growling, hissing, and chewing his face mask.
According to Busch, the passenger's actions were first directed toward a woman of Asian descent who temporarily stood on the plane due to her back issues.
"It was very uncomfortable. She started to cry and I realized this was going to be more than one racist outburst," Busch said.

→ This flight is absolutely chock full of incredible scenery and views — including the Grand Canyon — you don't want to miss it! But...children. The arch enemy of any aviation YouTuber. They screech, scream, babble, cry, you name it — they do it. This flight was no exception. I tried my absolute hardest to cut out the noises I could but then put it back into its original form as the edited version was incredibly choppy. I did end up cutting the entire inbound taxi as the crotch demons that surrounded me made so much noise you literally could not hear the airplane sounds. It was THAT BAD. In case you are wondering, I had three children in front of me, two across from me, and two behind me. I was quite literally surrounded. Anyway, enough griping,

15. American Airlines First Class Flight, Salt Lake City to Phoenix - Airbus A320
This short domestic flight takes us from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Phoenix Arizona. It was a fine morning for flying, and the video includes all phases of the flight, takeoff, landing and cruise. There's also some geography tidbits for you too, as usual. Catering is the standard AA domestic First Class offer (not much!).
This flight took place on an ex-US Airways A320 which, although repainted, hadn't been refurbished inside. So it still had the old US armchairs! I do miss US Airways....
